Being an experimentally-oriented artist, Walter Bergmoser has his strength in research in phenomenology and perception and how we, as human beings, perceive things in daily life.
Bergmoser’s art does not follow a given concept, nor is it entirely intuitive. He responds photographically to the spaces and landscapes he passes through and to the people he encounters.
His approach is fruitfully compared with the work of a poet.
